As part of its commitment to promoting safety awareness and strengthening organizations’ preparedness to respond to medical emergencies, Skype Medical Equipment conducted a training workshop for employees of ACWA operations, focusing on the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), in collaboration with Life Pulse Team.

The workshop was held at ACWA’s operations premises in Al Dur 2, Kingdom of Bahrain, and was attended by Mr. Ernesto Celedonio, AED Sales Consultant at Skype Medical Equipment, and Mr. Mohammed Al Sharqi, Paramedic and representative of the Life Pulse Team.

The workshop included practical training on performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) correctly, as well as guidance on the essential steps for using an AED safely and effectively in the event of a medical emergency.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Hussein Abbas, Safety and Security Officer at ACWA, emphasized the importance of such training initiatives in raising safety awareness and strengthening employees’ preparedness to respond to emergencies. He also praised the collaboration with Skype Medical Equipment and Life Pulse Volunteer Team in providing practical training and equipping employees with essential knowledge and skills that can make a difference in an emergency.

This initiative reflects Skype Medical Equipment’s ongoing efforts to promote first aid awareness and emergency preparedness, while supporting organizations in creating safer and more prepared workplaces.
